Headway North West London [HNWL] runs two support groups, the Harrow Support Group and the Brent Support Group, each of which meet on one evening a month, to provide support for those in the local area whose lives have been affected by acquired / traumatic brain injury. Meetings are open to people with an acquired brain injury, their families and carers, and interested professionals. Both support groups are facilitated by volunteers. The support groups operate on a "drop-in" basis, and visitors are welcome. However, if you are planning to visit a support group for the first time, it is advisable to phone HNWL [on 07726 325222] in advance of a meeting, just in case the group has organized an outing.

HNWL also runs a service called The LINK, which provides informal social rehabilitation for people in North West London with an acquired brain injury. The LINK takes place on Thursdays, and use of this service is only by referral, which may be from a healthcare professional, social worker, family member or self-referral.
